The Graphic Witness Medical Demonstrative Evidence - http://graphicwitness.medicalillustration.com
Item #: exh50977
This stock medical exhibit illustrates a procedure for arthroscopic shoulder surgery using two sets of images and insets. The first set presents a general orientation and pre-operative condition consisting of tendinitis and inflammation, acromio-clavicular impingement syndrome, a distal clavicle bone spur, and impinged and partially torn supraspinatus muscle tendon. The second set of images demonstrates the procedure itself. First, the insertion of arthroscopic instruments is shown. Depicted next is an acromioplasty using a high speed bur, relieving the impingement. Finally, the frayed rotator cuff is shown to be shaved smooth.
