The shoulder injuries consist of near full-thicknes tear of the supraspinatus muscle tendon, tear of the glenoid labrum, synovitis and subacromial impingement syndrome. Through the arthroscopic surgery the labral tear and the synovitis are debrided. An anchor is placed to repair the rotator cuff. Decompression of the subacromial space is achieved by resecting the subacromial bursa and performing acromioplasty.
