This is a single custom board exhibit that includes two pre-operative film interpretations, and four steps of the corrective surgery. The pre-operative condition of the left foot is portrayed using both an AP view and a medial view of the injuries due to the locations of the problems. Shown in the interpretations are a transverse fracture in the third metatarsal, a fracture in the second metatarsal and middle cuneiform, and dislocated lisfranc joint, naviculocuneiform joints, mid tarsal joint, and subtalar joint. The four steps of the corrective surgery illustrated include: an orientation view of all the incision sites for the various procedures completed - including an achilles tendon release, the insertion of a threaded pin and screw into the tarsals, the application of bone graft into the fractured areas and placement of external hardware, and the securing of the anterior and posterior tibial tendons into the navicular bone by anchored sutures.
