Cerebral Artery Dissection and Stroke - Medical Animation
This 3D medical animation shows the inner lining of the middle cerebral artery dissecting (tearing), leading to the formation of a blood clot and a blocked artery. The clot, called a thrombus, blocks blood flow to the brain causing an ischemic (lack of blood supply) stroke.
