Bilateral Shoulder Injuries with Arthroscopic Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
The top half of this exhibit features an anterior view of the upper torso including both shoulders illustrating the instability and laxity of both shoulders with displacement of the humeral heads, as well as the overgrowth of the acromion on the right. Inset views of each shoulder are included with the joint capsule removed to reveal the actual joint and glenoid labrums in these images. These images show the SLAP lesions of the labrums on each side. The bottom portion of the exhibit will reveal three to four steps of the initial arthroscopic reapair procedure.
