Normal Abdominal Anatomy vs. Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit consist of two figures: the first is the normal anatomy showing the anatomical relation between the liver, gallbladder, the stomach and the intestines; and the second figure is the Roux-en-Y procedure where the stomach is divided and the jejunum is anastomosed to a small pouch created from the proximal portion of the stomach.
