Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Procedure with Subsequent Bile Duct Injury - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit consist of four images focused in the anatomical area of the Gallbladder and surrounding structures where we begin showing the normal anatomy of the gallbladder, Common duct and its connections to the liver and small intestine. Then we show a view of a correct post operative condition after gallbladder removal, these is compared to the outcome of an incorrect cholecystectomy procedure where the common hepatic duct has been transected and a biliary reconstruction took place to restore bile flow into the small bowel.
