Male Torso with X-Ray Film Image and Fractures to the Lumbar Spine, Elbow and Wrist - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with one large anterior view of the upper body of a male figure from the upper thighs up through the neck. Within this figure, is shown the skeletal anatomy of this region including the lungs shown in an anterior cut-away view of the ribcage. Injuries depicted include multiple pubic and sacral pelvis fractures, a left-sided pneumothorax, right wrist injuries, right elbow fracture and a box highlighting the lower lumbar spine. Also, enlarged skeletal views of the elbow, wrist and lumbar spine portray these injuries in greater detail. The elbow enlargement reveals fractures of the radial head. The wrist enlargement reveals a perilunate dislocation and tear of the triangular fibrocartilage complex. The lumbar spine image reveals an L5 pars defect with spondylosis and slight spondylolisthesis at this level.
