This medical exhibit features an overall silhouette (outline) view of a male figure revealing the full skeleton from the skull down to the feet. The frontal aspects of the skull reveals the brain within and the abdominal organs are shown between the ribcage and the pelvis. This image provides an overall orientation to the sites of injury in this case. Boxes are drawn around the bilateral wrists, right hip and right knee to point out the sites of the orthopedic injuries. Also, the brain is surrounded by a red glow to represent the concussion and the laceration of the right lobe of the liver will be shown. Also, enlarged skeletal views of the four sites of orthopedic injury is created to show these injuries in greater detail. The following specific enlargements included: left wrist with fracture of the distal radius, right wrist with fracture of the distal radius, right hip with fractures of the acetabulum and superior pubic ramus, right knee with proximal fibular and tibial fractures and tears of the posterior cruciate ligament and anterior cruciate ligament.
