Displaced, intraarticular fracture of the right patella. A midline incision is made over the right knee. The bone fragments are reduced using K-wires and a tension band wiring is applied and a figure-of-eight cerclage is performed around the inferior pole of the k-wires. The tears of the retinaculum are repaired with sutures.
