Revision of Total Knee Arthroplasty - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit includes five surgical steps for the removal and replacement of prosthetic components in the femur and tibia. The first step shows an osteome being used to loosen the femoral component and the next step shows the removal of that same component and cement. The next two steps illustrate the removal of the tibial component. The last step illustrates the style of the new tibial and femoral components that are being placed into the right knee.
