Trigger Finger (Stenosing Tenosynovitis) - Medical Animation
Trigger finger, also known as trigger thumb or stenosing tenosynovitis, is a condition where the pulley at the base of your finger becomes inflamed and swollen. This makes it harder for the tendon to move through the pulley, causing your finger to get stuck in a bent position. The symptoms of trigger finger, some factors that can increase your risk of developing the condition, and treatments for correcting it, are depicted.
